Data Deletion
Last updated: August 18, 2026
This page explains how to delete the data associated with Rove: Gym & Calisthenics (com.kodmap.rove), a mobile application by kodmap. It is the deletion request route referenced by our Privacy Policy and by the Google Play Data safety form.
Rove has no account. There is no sign-up, no email address and no password, and you never sign in. That means there is no account for us to close — and it also means that almost everything Rove knows about you lives on your device and nowhere else.
1. Delete your on-device data
Your workout logs, sets, reps, weights, programs, goals, favorites and body metrics (weight, height, age, and derived values such as BMI, BMR, TDEE and 1RM) are stored only on your device.
- Export first if you want a copy. In the app: Profile → Export Data writes your workout history to a CSV file you can save or send anywhere. Do this before deleting — the export is the only copy that survives.
- Delete everything by uninstalling Rove. Uninstalling removes the entire local database, your settings and your body metrics. This cannot be undone.
A CSV you exported yourself — to Files, iCloud Drive, Google Drive or email — is under your control and is not affected by uninstalling.
2. What leaves your device, and how to have it removed
Rove sends very little to our servers, and none of it is tied to your name, email or phone number:
- AI program inputs. When you ask Rove to generate a program, the choices you make (focus areas, goal, experience level, available equipment) are sent to our backend to produce the plan. They are not linked to an identity.
- Pseudonymous analytics and crash diagnostics via Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics — screens opened, device model, OS version, crash stack traces.
- A push notification token via Firebase Cloud Messaging, if you enabled notifications. It is discarded when you uninstall.
- Subscription status via RevenueCat and the App Store / Google Play.
To request deletion of anything held on our side, email kodmapdev@gmail.com with the subject "Rove data deletion".
Because Rove has no account, we cannot look you up by name or email. To let us find the records, include the date and approximate time of the AI program request you want removed, or the App Store / Google Play order ID of your subscription. Without one of those we have no identifier to search on, and we will tell you so rather than guess.
- We confirm receipt within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days.
- Requests are free of charge.
3. What is deleted and what is kept
| Data | Deleted | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Workouts, programs, goals, body metrics | On uninstall | Stored on your device only |
| AI program inputs sent to our backend | On request | Not linked to an identity; see §2 for what to include |
| Push notification token | On uninstall | Firebase Cloud Messaging |
| Analytics & crash diagnostics | Retained per processor policy | Pseudonymous; Firebase Analytics / Crashlytics retention windows |
| Subscription & purchase records | Retained | Held by Apple / Google / RevenueCat; required for tax and refund records. Manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Play Store account |
We may retain a minimal record of the deletion request itself where required to demonstrate compliance.
4. Cancelling your subscription
Deleting data does not cancel a subscription, and cancelling a subscription does not delete data. Manage Rove Pro in App Store → your name → Subscriptions (iOS) or Play Store → Payments and subscriptions (Android).
